Maramba River Lodge provides a most attractive all-year-round accommodation base in a shaded woodland setting. The Lodge is situated on a bluff overlooking the Maramba River. We are often visited by the resident wildlife with elephant wandering through the grounds at certain times of the year.

Departure
This Zambia Safari West Expedition can start at any time in the period from end of April to October, depending on availability and opening of accommodations.
Number of Participants
This is not a group trip but a private safari where you undertake the safari with your own composition. As a rule, the activities are undertaken together with other guests of the property. A maximum number of people per car or activity is maintained per accommodation.

Baggage limit
Due to the possible domestic flight (s), this safari has a baggage limit per person: 1 travel bag (no hard suitcases) of maximum 15 kg and 1 piece of hand luggage of maximum 5 kg.
Visa and Passport
Zambian entry visas can be obtained online through the Department of Immigration’s e-Services website or upon arrival at any port of entry. For the application you need a valid passport, a travel confirmation, one passport photo and proof of vaccination against yellow fever. If you buy a visa at the border, you only need a valid passport.
Flight Tickets
All international flights are not included. If you extend your safari in Malawi, for example, flying back from Lilongwe is an option. You can then decide for yourself which flight is the best for you.
