Explore one of Zambia's most iconic parks; South Luangwa. Game drives in South Luangwa National Park are one of the best in Africa due to the intense concentration of wildlife around the Luangwa River. Professionally trained guides drive you along the tortuous Luangwa riverbanks, through untamed forests, woodlands and grasslands with up-close views of exeptional wildlife such as elephants, bufallo’s, giraffes, zebras, antilopes and predators like lions, wild dogs, hyena’s and leopards. Besides the wildlife, South Luangwa also welcomes more than 450 bird species each year! The nickname of South Luangwa is called ‘home of the leopards’ and finding leopards on a game drive here is almost a guarantee. Enjoy your own guide and private vehicle with complete freedom. Our safaris are 100% private. We collect clients from all lodges in and within Mfuwe. You will be collected at your Lodge between 5:30 & 06:00 am. After about 3 hours safari we will have our breakfast break on a nice spot along the Luangwa River or lagoons. The drive will continue until 10:00, when guests will be returned to the lodge. Breakfast in the bush
After about 3 hours safari we will have our breakfast break at the lagoon or riverbanks where guests can stretch their legs. Snacks and drinks are included.

Private Safari vehicle
Private Safari vehicle with fuel is Included. Guest will be collected and returned to their lodge in open safari vehicles.
Trip Itinerary
05:45 AM - Shuttle Pickup
Make sure you are ready to be picked from your accommodation at 5:30 in the morning.
06:00 AM - Arrive at National Park Gate
Guest can stay in the vehicle whilst we register everybody at the main gate.
06:00 - 8:30 AM – Game drive
The guide will explore various lagoons, riverbanks and lookout points throughout the morning to increase the amount and variety of animals guests can encounter.
08:30 - 9:00 AM – Breakfast break
After about 3 hours safari we will have our breakfast break at the lagoon or riverbanks where guests can stretch their legs.
09:00 - 10:00 AM – Game drive
We will continue our Game Drive whilst slowly heading towards the main gate.
10:00 - 10:15 AM – Return to the lodge
Around 10:00 we will drive out of the park and return the guest to their accommodation.

Prices are per person per day. All entrance fees are payable directly to South Luangwa National Park. All fees are only payable in cash so make sure you have it ready at the park entrance gate. We will guide you.
